A little about our background and philosophy.

Our Mission

To have some good, clean fun, while burning as much nitromethane as possible! Oh, yeah!, --- Without hurting too many parts!

Our History

Team Info:

Driver - Jim Overly

Driver Bio - After a 18 year lay off, it's time to go nitro racing again! A veteran of the California Nostalgia Nitro Top Fuel wars, I had to quit racing in 1991, when someone broke into my shop and stole everything; cars, parts, engines, tools...everything. I've been racing, off and on since 1966, in everything from a 1950 Austin altered; 64 Corvette; a blown, injected '55 Chevy to a front motored, 392" Hemi-powered Nitro Top Fuel Dragster on a Jim Davis chassis. And much of this was done throughout a 20-year career in the US Navy.

Hometown - Pasadena, Texas
Crew Chief - Jamie McConnell
Tuning Advisor- Doyle Smith
Team Support Specialist- Susie McCue

Crew - Paul Gordon, Ernie Goy, Keith Fisher, Donna McConnell, Randy Owens, Mac Fosmire, looking for a few more! We simply could not do this without these dedicated people!

Tuner- Jerry Newman. This thing would not run as good as it does or without hurting itself without the kind assistance of Jerry Newman! Jerry has been tuning Nitro cars forever-or something close. He is the master and keeps the aluminum gods at bay. My heartfelt thanks to a guy that offered his expertise solely based on my needing it. I have yet to meet him but that fine day is approaching!
